Who first told you you had pre-eclampsia?

I was expecting to get it!! because my mother had it with me and my Dad was a GP (including 2 years in Obs and Gyn at Guys in London) so I was well informed. I got a strange headache and went to the doctors suspecting it was pre-eclampsia - however it was quite some time later that the medical establishment believed it was pre-eclampsia and not just pregnancy induced hypertension as I never had loads of protein in my urine and a lot of them seem to think this is vital for it to be pre-eclampsia.
