Hello to all, first of all i know how overwhelming this takes a toll on you and your family. My son was discharged from hospital after the transplant. He engrafted and counts are up. My concern is that he is very aggressive and does not follow any instructions. Who has experienced this and where can i find help for this?

HI,
You have all been through a very tough time. My son was unable to have a BMT as he was already too brain damaged. I know that behavioural problems are an early symptom of ALD. A BMT is such a major thing for anyone to go through especially a child. It does take a time for ALD symptoms to subside after a BMT. It would be advisable to get his specialists opinion.
