tachycardia 120 bpm post mitral valve repair

4 weeks ago I had mitral valve repair - open heart. I’ve got tachycardia of 120 to 140 and the rhythm isn’t very good - one dr thought some P waves, another just afib. I’m not sure what to do. On warfarin but have had 5 TIAs getting double vision for 10 minutes. Anyone had similar experience and found a solution please?

Think double vision needs to be checked out, have you rang 111 or A&E visit

Hi, I had mitral valve repair, ablation and pacemaker inserted in same wk 2021. About 3 wks later developed tachycardia, which use to make me feel v sick, giddy and as if I would pass out. Needed another ablation to fix it.

TIA's difficult, you probably should be on blood thinners of some kind. I've had a stroke and as I was already on apixaban, the consultant said there was nothing else they could do and when I've reported TIA's nothing happens. But certainly contact your GP and A&E and you may have better results than me.
