I don’t know where you are in the UK but Royal Papworth are leading the trial here, it’s called Advantage AF Trial.

As you will recall from my previous posts on this forum and our separate messages around the same time -they are also doing these pulsed field ablations at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, but if I remember correctly you live on the south coast so that’s of no real benefit to you. It is now over 3 months since I had my pulsed field ablation at LHCH and I am still doing well. I remain in NSR with occasional spells of palpitations/ectopics. I have been intending to do another update post for the group but with Christmas/new year I haven’t got round to it yet. Did you enquire about the procedure at Royal Papworth?

Thank you Caradpoc. Happy New Year and very happy to hear you are still in NSR. I have been in NSR myself since changing my Flecainide dose from PIP to 50mg BD. How long that works for me is anybody's guess.

That’s good news - I originally used Flecanide PIP (2005 to 2012) - then started taking it regularly from 2012 to 2022 without any further (apparent) AF until my heart attack last April appeared to set off the AF persistently (and Flecanide was at that point contraindicated) - happy new year to you
