whenever I have a run of SVT, I get a feeling of pressure in my chest, pressure in my head, and a headache. It slowly dissipates after an hour or two. Does anyone else experience this?

I have SVT and can get runs of 190 bpm to 220 bpm during exercise and no such effects happen to me. I'm 78 as well.

I get mild tachycardia quite often and, yes, it causes a feeling of pressure and mild discomfort in the chest and back, as well as below the left rib.
