I was looking through some links in a newsletter I receive and was delighted to see a link to a public presentation on arrhythmias given last year by my electrophysiologist, Dr Andrew Liu.
I have had a few different arrhythmias and 4 ablations - for SVT, Atrial Flutter and Atrial Fibrillation.
In this presentation Andrew (I should probably say Dr Liu but we know each other so well 😉) speaks about the electrical system of the heart, key arrhythmias including AF and AFlutter, ECGs (including Apple Watches and Kardias), ablation procedures and lifestyle changes that can help reduce the AF burden. It runs for 1 hour 12 mins but is worthwhile watching, especially for newbies who haven't been inside a cath lab.
PS - when I started seeing Dr Liu he had black hair 😂

I have watched the video in two sittings and have just finished session 2.
This is such a useful and informative video and I thank you very much for posting it.
The information Dr Liu is clear and easy to understand and watching it has helped me make up my mind about having the catheter ablation done - I was sitting on the fence last week!
When I finally get the call to go in, I will now do so without hesitation.
Dr Liu is great at explaining things. I often walk out of appointments with him with a number of diagrams he’s drawn for me to explain what’s happening 😀
Thanks for the link, just got done watching the presentation. Very good, very informative, but.......I wish they would have concentrated more on the slides themselves as they were presented the audience.
