Well it certainly wouldn't be normal for me and I'd be seeking medical advice as soon as I could. This is a forum for people with atrial fibrillation, so I'm assuming you have that too?
If in the UK and feeling the need for professional advice right away I'd ring the NHS 111 helpline.

Hi Jeanne, just a follow up. Went to ER was admitted. Fluid on lungs after ablation surgery for AFIB given steroids and lasix dropped 8 pounds of fluid. Feeling much better. Still some AFIB Theirwatching me closely.
My goodness it's a good job that you went to ER and are now being looked after. Have you been given a reason as to why that fluid built up?
Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Some background would be useful such as do you have Atrial Fibrillation (the purpose of this forum) . Not normal for me so best get some medical attention. Any chest pain of shortness of breath shoud be investigated.
