Hi there, yes, palpitations and chest fluttering \ pains are all symptoms of A F, you may wish to download some of our patient resources from the A F Association Patient resources : heartrhythmalliance.org/afa.... You may find the 'AF & You' and 'AF Patient Information' booklets particularly helpful?

Bag of frogs is a more usual description.
You are lucky if that is all you feel, not intending to suggest symptoms are not important to you 🙂
I dont call.my self lucky I spent 15 years with svt which caused silent heart attack bin abated still have same peoblems
I didn’t mean you don’t have problems, just that violent flip flops aren’t one of them. We have had a few posts where people have described their heart feelings - mad bunny rabbit, box of frogs, bag of worms etc so bubbles not too bad, it’s sometimes what I get and I prefer it to the trapped rabbit!
May I add to that description. Only today I tracked my symptom for upcoming EP appointment as sensation like “a rat on a wheel” under my ribcage. My EP says my unusual symptoms of bubbles/regurgitation /sitting on a tractor vibration/to now a rat run DO NOT correspond with aFIB (via loop monitor reading) but interestingly I read on this forum this sensation can be the before warning or after ! Mine’s been going 15 days’ straight and I’m over it big time!
my chest vibrates from the inside when in AF
Afib feels different to different people and some are not even aware of it. I know when I was in afib my heart rate was high and blood pressure low. If you don't have a pulse oximeter, it might be a good idea to have one and a bp monitor for home is a good idea too.
When I am in a fib I frequently feel bubbly in my chest or like tiny little minnows are jumping around.
