Pvcs/pacs since having covid
Yes certainly my heart is a LOT more sensitive and having many more PVC’s, Tachycardia and ectopics than before COVID but they are lessening now and I really don’t get bothered about them but nothing like the quantity you are talking about. I had COVID in October.
They are always worse when I am stressed, had poor sleep or have just pushed myself too hard so rest and relaxation I find helps.
Yes it is known as one of the long haulers issues.
Yes, I found beta blockers at certain doses makes it worse. Some days it is constant. I stopped the beta blockers and calcium channel blockers and started Clonidine. It seems to keep my adrenaline low to keep them at bay, but I still have some challenging days. I also have had to remove certain foods that was causing high histamine. My cardiologist has classified this as dysautonomia due to COVID. There is a long hauler clinic in the DC area and they are seeing a lot of this. Most cardiologist don’t make tge connection and try and treat it like normal afib. I hope you get some relief.
Hi there I’m 8 days into having COVID and have noticed a large hike in the amount of ectopic which made me check the the AF page here for similar experiences which I can see you are having or have had. In fact at the moment I’m experiencing a huge amount, probably 40 to 50 an hour which is a leave amount for me as normally or would be 10-20 a day max. Tell me has yours settled at all or are you still the same?
Cheers
Matt
