Anyone here has experienced getting Afib after strong orgasmic event? Been shocked back into sinus rhythm but cardiologist does not feel this event caused my Afib but my mitral valve regurgitation. No question it was the strong orgasm as I experienced strong heart abnormal beats like your heart was going to jump out of your chest. Hard to know what to do now being in SR and no advice on any further sexual activity. Fear to start the Afib again. Two months now in SR

Well, what a dilemma to be presented with. Have never discussed that aspect with my EP but if it works in reverse and gets me into NSR, I'll have a word with my hubby when he gets home.😁

This subject came up at our first ever conference in 2007 when the advice from the doctor asked was try to make sure it was your regular partner as a new experience may be too much excitement to bear. (Sorry Duck but Max is off limits.)

I've got no designs in Max's direction but give me half an hour in a dark room with Mr Alonso and that's a different matter.........not sure the Diltiazem would steady the pulse rate then.
