Athletic greens and af

Hi guys looking at buying a supp drink called athletic greens. Not sure if anyone on here would or has taken it at some point or knows if it would have anything in it that may trigger AF. I can’t see why it would as it’s all “supposedly” natural. This is more a case of me being lazy 🤣 and hoping someone else has done the leg work and researched or used it themselves. Hopefully someone has? 🤞🤞 if anyone knows anything about it let me know! Thanks guys 😃👍

The one as recommended by Dr Chatterjee? I haven’t personally but a friend of mine has but as she is in permanent AF anyway it wouldn’t make any difference.

If it is the same product then it’s a good recommendation as far as quality is concerned but personally I prefer to eat my greens fresh as Dr Ch recommends anyway.

My only comment was that it is ridiculously expensive!

Hi dreamer. Not too sure if dr chattergee reccomends it, to be honest I don’t know who that is either 🤣🤣 it is pretty expensive but too be honest it works out no more than a cup of coffee would do per serving. Not that I drink coffee anymore 😩😩 from my research it’s the best one on the market. I get my veg fresh as well to be honest. This is not a replacement it’s a supplement to top up anything missing. Hopefully it can give me a bit more energy that I’m desperately lacking 🤞🤞

Thanks for input 👍

Not sure you will get more energy from Athletic Greens and I tend to favour CoQ10 supplementation for energy. I certainly notice the difference when I don’t take it but then I’m working from quite a low baseline!

PS - if you take Bisoprolol I don’t think it matters how much of anything else you take to supplement - you will be on a hiding to nothing. Bisoprolol sucked the life out of me.

🤣🤣 thanks for the optimism 😃👍 I have a slightly better outlook on it though personally. I see bisop as a temporary thing in my view and it’s a hell of a lot better than the flecanaide I was taking. It’s not even comparable. Flec absolutely destroyed me. At the end of the day no man made drug is ever going to be good for you in my opinion. They all have downsides and I will do my utmost to get off all of them entirely and go completely natural if possible.

Same for me for Bisoprolol

Thanks for input dreamer.

I’d have to disagree with you there though. If your body is lacking certain nutrients/vitamins/minerals and you top them up with diet and supplementation then you will 100% gain energy from this in that your body will be working more efficiently as it’s receiving what it needs each day. Athletic greens “supposedly” contains a very high percentage of everything your body needs. It is obviously a supplement though the same as any other you would take individually so is not designed to replace a healthy balanced diet. It also has pre and probiotics to help the gut so you can absorb all the nutrients within it. Whether it will be as good as advertised is another matter but hopefully it can do the main thing I’m after and that’s fill in the gaps that my normal diet misses daily. 🤞

It is worth trying L-Carnitine, especially if you don't eat a lot of meat. It gave me back my energy! - and is safe for hearts.

Hello Polski. Thanks for input. I’m a total carnivore to be honest 🤣🤣 I eat meat 🥩 like it’s going out of fashion. I’ll have a look into that though for sure. Along with the coq10 that dreamer mentioned 👍

How long have you been taking that? Do you take heart meds such as bisop or flec?

in reply to CDreamer

Would additional CoQ, vitaminD and magnesium still be necessary for AF?

From website

“Athletic Greens is a natural product made with vitamins, minerals, and whole food sourced ingredients. It is generally safe for most individuals. However, if you are taking prescription medication, we do not recommend taking Athletic Greens or any other dietary supplement without first consulting with a medical professional”

😬😬😬😬 the dreaded phone call to the docs 🤣 will they or won’t they? 🤔 might have to be a call tomorrow 👍 to be fair though they have to say that on their website to cover their rear ends

1.9 gms of fiber a day. Really? 90 dollars a month? No research data? 😂 👎👎

Fox News 🤔🤔 known for their intellectual, unbiased, informative news content 🤣 wasn’t exactly a bad review of it either way.

I’ve done research on it and it looks great. Wouldn’t expect fibre to be in it as you can only really get fibre when you eat whole food. It’s made for the vitamin, mineral and probiotic content. That’s why I’m going to be using it anyway. The food extracts are just an added bonus in my view. £80 a month is peanuts 🥜 if it improves my health even slightly. 60 day money back guarantee if your not happy 😃 👍 no brainer!
