Xarelto or Rivaroxaban is commonly used and most people have no prblems with it if taken in accordance with instructions.

I'm sorry to say that whilst there are three other Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs) plus Warfarin, there are no quantifiable natural anticoagulants. Many such products may be advertised but none have the ablility to check if they are working correctly. You would therefore not be fully protected from stroke which is so nesessary if you have AF. There was a much publicised case a couple of years ago of a man who decided to brew his own "natural" product and sadly died from uncontrolled internal bleeding despite doctors fighting for three days to save him.

I suggest you speak to your Doctor and ask to try a different anticoagulant. I certainly wouldn't trust any 'natural' alternatives.

Warfarin is actually a natural compound found in mouldy clover. However, unlike other "natural" compounds, it is easy to measure its effect and dosage is very accurate. It also seems to have fewer side-effects than the DOACs. If you did decide to use warfarin, I would suggest you get a Coaguchek so you can accurately measure its effect and the dosage required.
