Heart palpitation and stomach problems link
So what it your question?
Welcome to the forum, not sure what your question is, more information might be helpful........
Welcome to the forum.
Yes, there's certainly a link between gut health and heart palpitations. I personally think it's important to only put healthy food inside our bodies. Artificial additives, including sweeteners were a sure trigger for my AF attacks.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Thanks. I started having ulcer pains some months ago. Was put on ulcer, h pylori treatment for two week, but noticed that 2 days before the treatment ended, I started having serious heart palpitations and weakness, which I didn't have before the treatment. My anxiety was high and my blood pressure started to go up. I would like to know if the h pylori antibiotics treatment causes heart and chest problems.
I've had two lots of the same treatment with antibiotics for h pylori, but that must have been about 20 years ago. There's no certainty what causes AF, but I'm more convinced that for me it was my high consumption of artificial sweeteners and additives to food and drink. I'll keep in mind the h pylori medication though.

Thanks for the feedback, it’s alway good to get a reaction to replies......
For a lot of us gut and heart issues cross over, it’s certainly so in my case. It’s not only the food and drink itself for me but also the mechanics of my gastro and heart which causes issues.
Try this on for size, for the last four weeks I have been trying to come off long standing use of lansoprazole. Been using gaviscon instead. Four weeks no ectopics. Took lansoprazole yesterday and today bloated stomach and yes 🙌 ectopics...too much of a coincidence
I have a hiatus hernia when it plays up it definitely affects my Af
I am definitely affected by lack of bowel movement (constipation) and excess stomach air (gas). There are many articles researching the effects of stomach issues on the Vagus nerve that controls the rhythm of the heart (Vagal Afib).
I'm (hopefully) currently at the tail end of just this. I have that unfortunate but common enough combination of diverticular disease and gastric troubles related to reflux and hiatus hernia. When these flare up, they bring on multiple ectopic beats and, perhaps (up till my ablation last year), worse. A few weeks ago, the result was tachycardia which made me quite ill and put n=me back of bisoprolol.
Life can be a trial, as I sure you know!

Think you have forgotten to insert the link Bkyb. Must be the xmas punch. 😉
I also think the relationship of your heart and vagus nerve is worth exploring. I have more questions than answers myself. Allergies and food intolerance is something to consider as well. I take liquid magnesium in water and it really helps with constipation. I use a capfulbir two of Remag with a pinch of salt in my water bottle. When I remember to drink it, it's a real help.
