I think you will find conflicting views on that. In other words NOBODY KNOWS!. Age alone may not be definitive either as young fit people are suffering whilst some older people coast through the virus. Far too early to make hard statements of that nature I'm afraid until all the evidence has been sifted through and anylised. Positive attitude is the important thing.
My feeling is to take as many precautions as you reasonably can regardless of whether in an at risk category or not. I and OH are being very careful and trying to avoid infection both over 70s he with more heart issues than me .
The difficulty lies in the unknown, unknowns and unfortunately many people find living with uncertainties very stressful. IMHO (none professional but done a fair amount of reading) there is no answer to your question other than ‘maybe, maybe not’.
I am nearly 70 and it’s certainly not the AF that concerns me - I take immune suppressants and that makes everyday life quite chancy on picking up infections, it make this virus very scary so not been out of the house for 7 weeks and don’t intend to do so until we are through 12 weeks and the infection rate is well down.
I agree with other posters - no one can say for sure as what scarce data there is, has not been fully scientifically analysed. I’m like Bagrat - taking every precaution to protect myself and a more vulnerable husband - both of us 76.
Hope for the best but always prepare for the worst.
