Hi guys,
Just a quick question: those little 'pauses' between beats that we get when we experience afib or ectopic beats, do you ever find that they are sometimes longer?
I've captured a couple on my Kardia this morning that felt like a relatively normal ectopic, which I've attached a photo of. But I've had one about 90 minutes ago (I know, it's only one but... ) that actually made me gasp - in panic - because it felt like the 'pause' was about 2-3 seconds. When a normal 'pause' feels like it's about 0.5-1 second.
Do you ever experience these longer pauses between beats?
I saw a cardiologist on Thursday because I've been having a lot of unusual heart activity lately and he said I'll have a 7-day ecg but he suspects it's just normal post-ablation activity and unless it becomes intrusive they won't do anything else.
I don't know about you all but this feels 'intrusive' every bloody day of my life!
