Talk about afib paranoia, thought I was hallucinating!

after 38 days of afib ended by cardioversion. I'm still in the hyper vigilant worried, paranoid stage and so I thought I was hallucinating when I walked into one of my employer Abbeycroft Leisure's sport centres yesterday to see a huge pull up banner advertising in house testing for - drum roll - Atrail Fibrillation! Seems we are rolling it out across our sites. It is using the Kardio gadget and takes 30 seconds.

Naturally, I got them to test me just to reassure myself that everything was functioning as it should, at least in the heart department! And then I got to be the Font Of All AF Knowledge for everyone with me!! They haven't got all this stuff just for me, of course, it's some sort of campaign for stroke reduction and I'm lead to believe my usual site of work will have one soon too. Just what an Afib hypochondriac needs at hand!

All good news. The more we test the more strokes we can prevent. It is Global AF Awareness Week after all.

Yes, its brilliant to test for this. Just timing was a bit coincidental!
