Hi Suzanne. Welcome to the forum. Have you had AF for very long? My journey started in August 2014. It came on out of the blue, but I think it was slowly starting for quite a few years previous. It was quite frightening when it happened & I ended up in A&E, but with reducing stress (retirement helped) & adjusting my lifestyle my AF episodes have become far & few between (fingers crossed). I have learnt so much from the advice & help from the lovely people here. Any concerns or questions you have, there is always someone here who can help.

Best wishes 🤗

Ally

Hello and welcome to the forum. Your post provides a lovely picture but lacks information so I’m assuming you have been recently diagnosed with AF if so, can I suggest you scroll down 8 posts to the one submitted by Fibfab earlier today and check out the replies. Although Fibfab doesn’t have AF, there is a lot of information in the replies which you might find helpful. I see from your introduction that you have had a clot in your lung and I hope that has been resolved. Please feel free to ask any questions and although we are not medically trained, we can share a wealth of knowledge and experience but a bit more information would make it easier for us to help you.......

Welcome Chinook ....... hope you get as much as I have from this forum over the last 9 years ---------an unusual user name for a lady ....if I may be so bold ... conjurs up in my mind Medivac experiences in war zones - Viet Nam and Afghanistan to name but two where that aircraft gave fantastic service.

Anyway, regardless of whether you have AF or not, hope you enjoy the ride on this forum.

Welcome to this great forum Suzanne. How long have you had AF? Feel free to ask any questions, we always say that there's no such thing as a daft one. If you type a word into the Search Health Unlocked box at the top of this page it will throw up a lot of posts relating to that subject. for instance if you typed cardioversion it would throw up every post where that has been discussed.
