Kardia is a little device that you hold between your two hands that takes a simple recording of your heart rhythm. It connects to an app on your smartphone and can detect possible AF. You can save and print the recordings and take them to your GP or Cardiologist. It costs about £100. I have one and find it very useful to confirm my AF and also to take to my Cardiologist.
