PIP. ..?

Hello. I noticed several people mentioning pill in pocket. PIP. What exactly is this . My cardiologist in Ontario Canada has never mentioned this? I have been on several meds for 14 years. Have had ablation and scheduled for another aug 30.

I find this forum very very helpfull, thank you all

It's normally a fairly high, one off dose of Flecainide or sometimes Bisoprolol which is taken by folk with paroxysmal AF. If they haven't reverted back to sinus rhythm within about an hour of the start of an episode, they take the dose as prescribed and that has the effect of chemically cardioverting them back into rhythm. Obviously needs to be a form of treatment prescribed by you doctor......
