I think anybody with AF does.
I always have a hr every afternoon it's like charging my battery's than I'm ok again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes. I do. I think it's pretty much par for the course if you have AF and beta blockers don't help either.
If you are able to take a nap in the afternoon I find that helps.
I certainly do ... Not sure if it's the AF or the medication but fall asleep as soon as I rest apart from bedtime when I lie awake and it drives me mad lol xx
I'm only 50 and I feel like a old man lol having a nap in afternoon 😜😜😜😜😜
Every day at about 3:00pm I get really tired. I have, on occasion, fallen asleep whilst typing a digital dictation. I'm pleased to say I'm pretty accurate in those sleeping moments too. However come the night and the sleep fairies just aren't doing their job..
Is it the AF or the drugs I wonder?
I thought I was tired because my heart wasn't working properly but my arrythmia nurse says it's probably the meds I'm on, dronedarone and diltiazem.

I think we all suffer from tiredness to varying degrees. Kinda comes with the territory. I do wonder if it's a combination of AF, drugs and of course the natural ageing process we all go through. I have persistant AF and since the transition from PAF to persistant (13 months ago) I don't suffer the ups and downs of AF and funnily enough I now don't feel the need for time out during the day. I am co-agulated, Apixiban. I also take 1.25 Bisoprosol twice daily. It's a funny old thing this AF. Roy
Yes tiredness is a problem for me, I fall asleep in the afternoon after lunch for about half an hour then again in the evening for about two hours but I have no problem when I go to bed. just walking round the shops for a couple of hours tires me out.
Yes. It comes with the territory. I get real tired during the day. On the weekends I take a nap and it helps, but still ready for bed early.
Tiredness in the afternoon may be caused, at least in part, by too much coffee/sugar/white flour etc in the lunch and morning. Avoid the coffee and sugar, and use wholemeal and wholegrain foods whenever possible - That may help.
At one time I developed an intolerance to wheat, and always fell asleep shortly after eating it! Cutting it out completely for three months or more, helped, but I still try not to eat too much eg I eat a wheat-free muesli for breakfast and avoid snacks of biscuits/cakes etc.
Stay tired feel awful all the time
Yes, in the evenings and on weekends. I feel as if I half of the energy that I did before the AF diagnosis. I try to pace myself and to not fret about it too much. That seems to help.
Yes. I feel tried all the time. Not to be confused with sleepiness. I'll feel tried after just two hours of waking up sometimes. And I always start to feel sleepy in the late afternoons.
