Stroke Risk Apixaban

Hello, can any tell me what your chances of having a stroke are while taking Apixaban please? Mum is taking for AF and I just want to put my mind at rest as I have read how AF can increase risk of stroke. For the record she is 72, high BP. Thank you

It's around twice normal, as opposed to 5 times normal without the anti-coagulant, it's the most important drug she can take.
