Has anyone found the technique of self administered Accupressure helpful in managing PAF or palpitations ? Cathy.

Elaine I've just started looking into Accupressure myself got an interesting book from Amazon re the technique - not practiced as yet - Cathy

I used EFT with good effect, stopped a couple of episodes but I think mostly helps calm and cope with the anxiety and adrenaline rush I always experienced with AF.

EFT uses the same meridians & points as acupressure/acupuncture.

I hasten to add it will not cure AF, I continued to have progressive AF.

It is - I liked it because it combines the psychological element with the energy and the body and it is easy to self administer.  I also saw a kinesiologist which also helped a lot.

I combine it with my Mindfulness breathing exercises. I definitely find pressure just above the bridge of the nose and also mid chest at nipple level improves relaxation. I use it as one of many AF prevention tools rather than a cure.

Would be very interested in more news from anyone on this topic. I believe the supplements company Good Health Naturally sells a machine.
