There probably is, the statistics would indicate so but they are obviously not reading this forum. Maybe contact your local surgery and ask if there is someway you could advertise this forum and the AFA and maybe find others? I am assuming you want to have personal contact with people local to you.

Yes I have had it for 17 years. I have PAF. After three ablations this has improved massively. If you want to meet up to discuss any fears you have I am quite happy to do this. I have been thinking of starting a group in this area, Canterbury, Faversham, H.B. Whitstable as I would have liked to have had more information and talked to others with this condition, but was told by GP and EP after I offered my services to talk to people about ablations, that because of patient confidentiality this could not be done. For my part I find it and I expect other people in this situation would find it more than therapeutic to share others experiences.

If anyone else in the areas mentioned above would like to meet and start a group please contact me via here and I will endeavour to arrange a meeting somewhere. Meanwhile if you would like to contact me I am quite happy for you to do this.

I'm in Chatham. I had afib but had an ablation 18mths ago and so far no afib. I was referred to an EP by a cardiologist in Medway Maritime hospital. I visit Whitstable from time to time - lovely place ! Hope you like oysters? I love Kent there's lots to do and see am sure you will too.
