Wil Pain from stomach ulcer show same as heart attack in ECG

Hi sureshk179,I have an ulcer aswell as AF and when i went for my endoscopy to find what was wrong in the first place the nurse doing it said that you wouldn,t believe the number of people who come here for this test and think with the symptoms they,ve got that they are having a heart attack as they are very simmilar but i,m not sure that it would show up on an ECG

Shouldnt think so as the ECG is based on the electrical activity of your heart...

Pain doesn't show on ECG as this records the electrical activity in your heart.. You may well have an ulcer as a different problem.
