Yes, when they were discussing trains there was quite a few people, then they all left when AF came up !!!! What it seemed to be mainly about was that Warfarin was not good enough and the new anti-coags need to be used more. Apparently only 3.4% of sufferers are taking the new AG's. I was very surprised to hear this, although the medical guy wasn't dismissive about Warfarin at all (I'm glad to say!).

Koll.

Maybe we should pushing for this new drug along wth the MP's, if its that good may as well pay for it myself £186 per year ! what are your thought Koll ?

MP'S should start pushing this new drug, also our D'sr should be using it as well, they should not be using these cheap ones if others which cost more are better.

They carry on at 2;30 may watch it again.

Warfarin is still fine it's just that there are now several new anti coagulents that are available that you don't have to have INR checks and are not affected by diet, because they are new they are expensive and therefore some areas are reluctant to prescribe them. Like every other drug they also have reactions. But they don't affect AF are there for stroke prevention, personally until they find a way to reverse these new ones I am staying put on warfarin

It is clear that someone needs to write on this forum about the new Anticoagulant drugs and what can be done in the event of a quite serious bleed. Some people appear to believe that you will be left to bleed out.

Darn I missed it on TV. Rats!
