Would like to attend but I live in the far southwest of Cornwall so it's just too far and expensive to travel and stay over somewhere.

Yeah me too Ian - I'm near Hayle. Plus the fact that I work on Friday, Saturday and Monday and don't have great opportunities to swap working hours.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, it's too far! There was a local AF meeting at Treliske Hospital in the autumn with Doctor Slade in attendance and the promise of further meetings this year but, as yet, I've heard nothing more.

I would, but I'm on holiday.

After 6 years of AF I'm always willing to learn more and this function is always a good opportunity. BobD always seems to get great value from it as do many others who attend.

What a pity the function is always held in the same place. You know, there are AF'ers in Cornwall, and Yorkshire, and Edinburgh and Norfolk to name a few places. Why can't the function be rotated year on year so that others who currently miss out because of distance and cost can have the opportunity to attend. So there is Exeter, York, Edinburgh, and Norwich, or even Cambridge,

Get my drift.

Hope to see some changes in future.

John

In principle yes but I'd like to know a bit more about the likely content before committing.
