Pseudo-science means pain and sufferi... - Advanced Prostate...
Pseudo-science means pain and suffering for those who need to think critically about the remedies presented below.
That is really bizarre ! For myself it is a laugh, maybe not for others.
I do not and will not go on to any FB page. So am not sure what they are discussing
This is a SPAM post as far as I’m concerned.
the Facebook link leads to one of those short on details, high on praise, testimonials for some unnamed product that miraculously cured the guys benign prostate hyperplasia.
At the bottom is a click for more information that takes you to a sketchy health blog which is another short on details advert that talks about certain harmful minerals in the local water supply for much of the US that builds up in the prostate. It warns big pharma and the government are trying to suppress this product, so act quickly.
That leads to a website called getprostadine which is a long fluffy video science babble about prostate and peeing.
When you finally get to the product details it’s an OTC supplement with saw palmetto, pomegranate, juice, and other herbs.
Complete BS to post in an advanced prostate cancer group without a disclaimer that it’s humor/satire
Skip the Facebook and health blog and just Google or YouTube “prostadine” if you must see for yourself
”Pseudo Science” the in vogue medical term, rather then “well, we look at this with a Jaundiced eye”… what a joke and what an insulting post to most on this site that are highly intelligent and just happen to have a deadly disease! I’m sorry, this just makes me so dam mad!!!
Post an actual article about the benefits of certain supplements and I’m all in on a critical discussion on the topic.
Post an advertisement that’s three layers deep and full of common scam advertising techniques (fluffy testimonial, hurry and buy it now before the government blocks this information, lengthy pseudo science videos that you can’t fast forward through) that eventually leads to a single product with more scammy sales techniques (buy now for a discount, free sample with your credit card, etc) for a product that isn’t even related to advanced prostate cancer) and I will call it out as SPAM every time.
😉

The only thing that seems legit is the mention of the Harvard study on some possible link between calcium and BPH and rarely with cancer.
