Curious as to how GAdrummer and her husband are fighting his weeping legs etc.

The weeping, swollen leg was treated by a special set of wraps. I have forgotten the name of the 'boot' kit that contained a spray for cleaning, a zinc infused gauze roll, foam sheets, self sticking elastic roll, and a long nylon sock. The home health nurse would change the wraps twice a week. The process would take about a half hour: removal of old wrap, cleaning and inspection, wrapping the gauze and smoothing it around the changes of direction, covering with the protective (non leaking or staining) foam sheets and holding them in place with the elastic wrap, and covering everything with the long sock and smoothing it out. All done twice as the non weeping leg had to be prevented from swelling so much as to also start weeping. This went on for the better part of a month until the swelling disappeared and he could use compression socks. Now he wants to go back to regular socks and shoes instead of slippers. Physically he is getting stronger as he regains appetite and weight. I am weaning him off the Boost and Ensure. He is down to 5 mg of prednisone for 3 weeks, preparing to transition back to hydrocortisone for the adrenal insufficiency caused by Keytruda.
