I’ve asked in some Facebook groups with few responses. Can you help answer our question, please?

MPCa Treatment
Lots of possible "nexts" and probably more by the time he's ready.
The treatment of ADT plus abiraterone is correct for hormone sensitive metastatic prostate cancer. The addition of Lynparza is also correct since he has BRCA mutations. PCs with BRCA mutations are the ones which have the most favorable response to Lynparza since up to 40% may respond and have a radiographic improvement.

After these treatments there are many other options.

Hubby was 56 at DX in August 2018 stage four immediately with bone mets and lymph node involvement. He had Stampede protocol from the beginning: radiation, chemo and ADT with prednisone. PSA was at its lowest 0.002 over two years ago and is now 1.06. Hubby treats at a nationally ranked cancer center. Hubby’s latest consult with another doctor added another medication, abiratirone. After genetic testing, his oncologist is going to add in Lynparza once approvals go through.
Thank you for your quick and detailed response. It will be helpful for you and the group to be able to see the fight that your husband is fighting. You may want to copy and paste your reply on your home page for future reference. God Bless you all.
I know that we are not to assume, but can I assume your 4 Shamrocks are your children? Anyway, if I'm wrong blame it on my wife.....

If Lynparza does not work for him or is not tolerated, then the next up to bat would likely be to replace it with some rounds of docetaxel chemo, keeping the abiraterone, pred and ADT. As per the PEACE1 protocols since he was de-novo metastatic. Good luck. It is a tough fight to take on all at once. Give plenty of love and support to your warrior and Shamrocks. 🍀🍀🍀🍀
