I too have depression and anxiety and I went through a few antidepressants and the best I found was mirtazapine started at a low dose then slowly increase over a couple of months. You have to deal with some side effects in the beginning but will soon become used to the medication and eventually feel better. Only disadvantage is you get really hungary so have to watch what you eat especially if you are over weight. Hope this helps.
