Unfortunately there is a lack of understanding and while sometimes there is a level of sympathy/support - it’s fleeting.

Sorry to read that Will2015abc

I believe there is a huge lack of understanding all round, just a shame it's within our families too.

Take care

I never really talk much with family about my health its like we all suffer but deal with it in our own way.my partner knows I suffer but it started way before we got together so I kinda feel I don't want to burden her with things that happened before I knew her.i kinda just float along in my little bubble suffering.

I'm so sorry to read this Kenny kenster1 such a shame that you keep this to yourself, you have so much on your mind, you could do with offloading, always here.

thanks chloe more stress and unexpected news over the last few days.my aunt was discharged from hospital on Friday she was due to go into a care home but when she arrived she refused to stay and went back to my dads house.care home said well we cant stop her.now the haematologist is defo meeting us next week to discuss an alternative to chemo but they said he cant go home because he wont have 24 hour care.we told the nurses 2 weeks ago at the last meeting I would be his carer but they never informed the haematologist about this.it looks like I will now be quitting my job or try for compassionate leave to spend the final few weeks with my dad.

I'll just say yes and no.

Tried talking to them several but they don't want to understand. They laugh at me if I cry in front of them.
