hair loss?
In March I had 4 infusions of
Truxima
, and have been tapering prednisone from 60mg to 5 mg. Sleeping better now and prednisone brain has disappeared. BUT, now my worry is hair loss!! My rheumatologist said this can occur with a systemic disease, but will improve.

New to ANCA Vasculitis
In January I was diagnosed with ANCA Vasculitis and have received 4 infusions of
Truxima
, injections of Evusheld, and another covid booster. I am tapering prednisone pretty quickly as protocol seems to dictate.

Anyone on Truxima infusions ?
I've been given a
Truxima
infusion for Rheumatoid Arthritis 10 days ago but I'm still feeling really poorly particularly at night. I read it takes 5/6 weeks to be effective but just feel it's not going to be in my case as I usually respond to all medications very quickly.

RIXATHON v TRUXIMA
I was expecting my next
Truxima
infusion on Tuesday but have received a letter from the clinical director of my Rheumatology department only this morning informing me it will be RIXATHON instead. The reason given is that it is now significantly cheaper than
Truxima
.

Truxima (Rituximab biosimilar) infusions effects?
Does anyone get strange effects from 6 week point after first two infusions? I did get pretty bad hot and cold episodes for a week or so straight after the second infusion. I’ve got intermittent hot all over (no temp) with sweat beading on forehead; intermittent chills; intermittent prickling like needles

So 2 years of rattling like a pill bottle on various high dose steroids and immunosuppressants and Rituximab/
Truxima
and honestly struggling to carry on with normal life I was finally told I'm clear to try a last ditched attempt at a family.

What to do for the best?
My dilemma is.... do I put off the
truxima
infusions and go for the op or stick with the infusions and put back the op.

Truxima (Rituximab) Advice please?
I’ve been feeling a bit more blurgh than usual after these infusions and just put it down to the Christmas rush prep etc, I’ve just pulled out my alert card and it says I was treated with
Truxima
(Rituximab) when I used to receive Mabthera (Rituximab).

Looking for Alternatives
No success yet from the latest (
Truxima
). I am now doing my own research into alternative pain relief. Social media is full of American Snake Oil salesmen that make claims for their own magic products. I have yet to find anything that even remotely lives up to its claims.

Truxima seems to be working for me
I’ve had my first cycle of
Truxima
and it already seems to be working for me. I’m not needing painkillers and even the swelling in my hands and fingers seems less. My daughter noticed my walking gait is “less like a penguin now” (cheeky madam!)

Reaction to Truxima
Had to be off treatment of
Truxima
for 4 months as having hip replacement. Due second infusion in a few days but still feeling ropey from first one a fortnight ago. I had forgotten that I seem to get flu like symptoms with aching muscles, constant headache and general yuckiness.
