IFN-1 levels before treatment may be biomarker of SLE activity: Study
Blood tests revealed SLE patients had significantly higher IFN-1 activity than those with other

and healthy individuals. No differences in IFN-1 activity were seen across all non-SLE participants.

Looks like even the covid vaccination has 2 sides to the story. (Rats. And just yesterday I had my 3rd booster.)

Lupus awareness day
Has anyone received any leaflet or anything to be able to share and show people about lupus awareness day? It was when I was about to put information on fb when I realised that I couldn't find any leaflets to photograph, so I just used a purple background as I couldn't find anything else.

Not PCa related but sounds like a very promising approach
When I read "advanced pancreatic cancer" and "overall disease control of 94%" in the same document...I feel like smiling.... https://ascopost.com/news/april-2024/advanced-pancreatic-cancer-oncolytic-virus-based-immunostimulatory-gene-therapy-plus-chemotherapy/

Underactive and drinking
Hello I have underactive thryiod, on 100 mg of Levo and have been diagnosed as under for about 8 years but think I've had it for a lot longer. Is there any evidence that binge drinking throws your thyriod symptoms out? I try and limit my drinking to once a week. When I do drink I drink 10 to 14 units

Top of Range Active B12
Hello I had a test at end of April and my results were >150 pmol/L for Active B12. The Medichecks doctor wrote that this was not an issue, but that my results meant that my B12 was probably not causing my symptoms. Is it possible to have pernicious anaemia, low intrinsic levels, with high active B12

Stage 4 fibrosis of the Liver
I contracted Hepatitis A in 2020, undiagnosed for 2 months. Six months later I was told I had NALD and last year I was sent for ultrasound scans and blood tests to check for cancer. In March this year, I was told I had Stage 4 Fibrosis of the liver. Does anyone know if this can be reversed, any treatments
