Sudden attack
I will try and be as detailed as possible. My day has been bearable just about, I started it with my weetabix, grapes, de caf tea,and my bisoprolol 5mg and first Apixaban 5mg. I take my Sertraline 50mg about half an hour later. I have had a headache most of the day and have done very little physically

High blood pressure
Hi. I’ve been on blood pressure medication for about 20 years. Had a HA in 2017 and some meds were changed. My BP stayed around the 135/78 mark. I took it on Sunday and it was 181/102. Went down to 162/90 on the next reading. Spoke to an out of ours gp and he said to double felodipine to 20mg as well

Self diagnosis of possible aphasia. I’m new to this community.
Just recovering from two migraines today, the secon one had similar symptoms to aphasia which I have had before. I have read that this could be linked to Fybromyalgia. My GP had previously given me a provisional diagnosis of Polymyalgia and then possibly Fybromyalgia, but I saw the Rheumatologist two

First visit to Consultant Rheumatologist and not good news
Hi sorry been quiet for a while, but have just been getting on with relapse after relapse. Diagnosed by gp with PMR last November 2019. Started on 15mgs Prednisolone with good result, but each time I tried to reduce never got below 10mg before all symptoms kicked in. Waited 11 months for my appointment

Vasospastic Angina is back
I've had this on and off for probably over 10 years now. I was able to control it with an antidepressant, but I stopped the treatment last year. I'm still talking Amlodipine 5 mg daily and Nitro spray as needed. In the last 10 months I started sufferring with daily ectopics, however haven't had angina

Amlodipine not working
i’ve been taking 5mg amlodipine since late August and got my dosage increased to 10mg in early September and my blood pressure is still not improving at all? i’m wondering if anyone had had a similar situation with amlodipine and how the problem was resolved.

Ace inhibitors versus arbs
I am new to the forum. I have taken blood pressure medication for a number of years: 25mg Atenolol; 2.5mg Ramipril and as these didn't control BP, bendroflumathiazide was added. With the medication BP was around 145/75. My GP stopped bendroflumothiazide last year. Ramipril was increased, but BP

Confused from Reading too Much about Carbimazole 5mg
Hi I'm new to all this. Before now I have never worried about what medication I have been prescribed, but then my doctor told me the side effects and I felt I needed to find out more before taking it, as it made me nervous. My TPO is 50 kU/L (0-5.6), TSH .05 miu/L (0-7), T3 5 pmol/L (1-9) and T4 12.4

Ramipril and amlodipine?
My BP has been high since an episode of fast AF in August 2019. I had a cardioversion in Sept 2019 and PVI ablation Jan 2020. I was originally on losartan but got horrendous side effects so GP changed me to Ramipril 2.5 mg. BP remained high so dose increased to 5mg about 2 months ago. BP still high

Possibly getting off exforge
Exforge is a combo of
Amlodipine
and
Valsartan
. I take the one that does not include Hydrochlorothiazide. I thought about stopping it for a while, like 1-2 months, to see what might happen, but I'm also wondering how long would it take to leave my system?

Atorvastatin
Hello everyone, hope you are all as well as possible. I had a stroke in August 2019 and before that had major brain surgery for a large aneurysm in 2017. Since the stroke I've been taking Atorvastatin (40mg), Clopidogrel (75mg) and Amlodipine (5mg). I was prescribed those by the consultant to help
