Hi all Firstly, sorry for the length post. I’m desperate for advice… We’ve just had a failed cycle at ARGC. 3 blasts sent for PGT-A testing, all come back abnormal. The follow-up consultation was extremely thorough. We’ve had karyotype tests (normal), hysteroscopy (normal), at beginning of cycle: FSH

Anything I should be doing for auto-immune hypothyroid?
Hi there, I was recently diagnosed by hypothyroidism as GP blood test showed a high TSH level (14.69) along with the symptoms I was experiencing (general tiredness, terrible immune system and weekly cold sores). They didn't do any other tests, and I was keen to also get a baseline on my T3/T4 levels,

Hypothyroid Labs In The Pits
Long story short. My 6th Endocrinologist retired over a year ago when my labs were good. I'm back to seeing my GP for the past year for Thyroid and now my labs are in the pits. Updated labs, new doctor, but still a no on adjusting meds
I posted my labs back in December and contacted my doctor asking for an increase in levothyroxine to 100 instead of my current 75. I've talked with them twice about this, but they seem to think that since my TSH is in range that any med adjustments may make me have some heart issues. I recently changed

Reducing thyroxine from 100 mcg to 75 mcg
I posted a few days ago about my doctor reducing my thyroxine from 100 mcg to 75 mcg. I managed to speak to another doctor who said to take 100, 100, 75 for a month and then 100, 75, 100 etc for a month and then test. Does this sound ok? Not sure what dose they’ll know to put me on though even if the

Hypothyroidism and levothyroxine treatment only inadequate?
I had a bad experience on levothyroxine only. I am now on T3 but not optimal yet although much better than I was on the levo.I had to go to hospital appointment regarding my dupuytrens contracture, and the doctor, who was going through my medications list, asked why I wasn't on levothyroxine. I told

T3 side effects
hi, Please can I have some advice. I’ve been taking 10 mcg T3 for 7 months together with 75 mcg T4. I haven’t felt particularly any better on T3 except for an improvement in tiredness and mood. I’ve felt hyped up and breathless on exertion so I asked for an ECG. I’m 68 and they found that I have a

Dosage Amounts on Combi Therapy
Hope no one minds sharing, I started on self sourced T3 in December, adding it to my Levo. I'm due to run my first blood test on this new regime in a week on two. I'm curious about the dosages other members who take Combi thyroid meds are on, how much T3 and T4 they take daily, and do you split doses

Help interpreting my test results
Hi. I have been struggling with long covid that’s better now but just did a recent lab and wondering if it looks ok. I still have some lingering symptoms like temple pressure on one side and joint pain, and vertigo. My TSh w/reflex to Free T4 went down a bit from 1.08 in Dec to .85 currently. My SGOT

PMR Review with GP
Further to my previous two posts, I had my appointment with the GP today, which was interesting. No mention of fibro. Yay! Mind you, this was the same doc I saw right after diagnosis and the guy who sent me off next day to the hospital ophthalmologist to get my eyes checked out to make sure that I

Totally confused
I had a partial thyroidectomy about 2010. My thyroid levels were fine for several years but then started dropping into hypothyroidism range. I was put on Levothyroxine at 50mg and was ok for few years. Tested Jan 2023 was ok. Tested early Feb 2024 and was hyper not hypo so my gp reduced the levothyroxine

TSH increase
My TSH has increased slightly even though my dose hasn't changed and my T4 is exactly the same. Is this normal? My TSH is suppressed due to thyroid cancer My results in August were T4 - 22.5 and TSH 0.13 Now my T4 is 22.5 and TSH 0.45

Change dosage?
I’m currently taking levothyroxine - 75 4 days a week and 100 3 days a week. Latest test results are T4 17.3 (range 11-21.2) and TSH 2.43 (range 0.27-4.2). These numbers seem much more in line with similar numbers this time last year and I’m having all the same symptoms. Last year my dose was increased
