Hello! I was recently diagnosed with ADHD (combined type), and I'm currently trying to figure out which treatment route I should take. Before I decide I want to know alllll the options out there. I'm hoping you might be able to share what's worked for you? Also, are there other medications besides

Needing advice
I'm now on
Adderall
XR
however I am so tired that I'm wondering if it's worth it. I'm almost afraid to say anything to her because she makes me feel ashamed. I'm afraid if I switch doctors again the people are going to think I'm Doctor shopping. I'm so unsure as what to do?!

Need realistic expectations
I’m new here. I am a 42 year old female and I was diagnosed with ADHD combined type when I was 39. I have tried taking Ritalin, Vyvanse and Adderall and I try to learn and practice strategies to deal with the symptoms but so far it feels like a losing battle. I just recently realized that I’m not sure

Experience with Insurance denial of Mydaysis (or other medication) process from denial of prior authorization to 3 level final review?
My insurance company has denied a new prescription for Mydaysis. My provider believes it will help with my Adderall ER tolerance. Ultimately the denial was upheld although I have taken EVERY adhd medication with the exception of Focalin (currently taking to move process along with NO success) and Strattera

Fatigue and meds
I’m just curious how other people with debilitating fatigue are dealing with it... prior to treatment. I m still watch and wait and have been sparingly using adderall for fatigue after trying various other homeopathic treatments, I recently moved to OKC and docs here don’t prescribe it!

Adderal XR and Guanfacine
We’ve struggled finding the right medication for our 7yo daughter with combined ADHD. The best single med that has worked is Adderal XR. But this past 3 months it really hasn’t worked. Our Dr suggested adding guanfacine to help. At first it was a miracle. She was less impulsive. Not as LOUD. She

What is the difference between Adderall and Adderall XR?
How different is the simple
Adderall
to
Adderall
XR
and how do they function in our body for the treatment of ADHD? Which one is more efficient then other?

Focalin to Strattera.....
Hi Parents, My son who is turning 9/going into 4th grade is currently on Focalin XR 10mg. My doctor brought up that this medicine is very good and something that will be very useful to him later in life such as highschool. She is being proactive and recommending to take a break from stimulants and switching

Quillivant and Adderall side effects
My 7 year old has tried Quillivant
XR
and
Adderall
...he has bouts of crying, gets cold, irritable and does not want to do what he normally would (play outside, be silly) until meds wear off. Has anyone experienced this and changed to a nonstimulant? Any advice is helpful, thank you!

Booster for Vyvanse
I would have to switch to
adderall
xr
plus
adderall
. I don’t want to bc I don’t feel like I’m taking meds on vyvanse. It’s so smooth. I’m afraid to ask about a zenzedi or Dexedrine booster.

Hi I’m 67-year-old male diagnosed five years ago ADHD and alcoholic in recovery for 11 years. Has anybody with adult ADHD experienced nothing using Ritalin and switched to try Adderall? I have not experienced any benefit from Ritalin 40 to 60mg during the past 8 months. My psychiatrist wrote me

I need a recommended virtual care doctor or company for Adderall prescription
Hello! I am 22 years old, I am experiencing symptoms of ADHD but a lot of the online telehealth companies do not prescribe controlled substances. Can anybody direct me to virtual care system or a doctor that they are seeing online that can facilitate this and help me get a prescription? Thank you!

What are the symptoms of taking too much adderall? Do you have symptoms when the adderall is wearing off?
Hey guys! I just recently joined this group and I was wondering if any of you find it normal to have dizziness, rapid heart rate, and a headache after taking adderall for the first time in a while? I don’t know if this caused by taking too much or if it’s wearing off. I’m glad to be apart of the group
