Peeing , what to do?
My husband has had issues with peeing for years ( probably why stage 4 at diagnosis, cause blamed BPH) . He recently finished last chemo 3 weeks ago and is again noticing a change when peeing. Says that he feels a great deal of pressure towards the end of the pee stream and feels like the end of his

Looking for advice for my newly diagnosed dad
Hello, I was wondering if you can offer some thoughts on my dad’s situation. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February after a week in hospital with urine retention. A Ct scan he had in hospital showed 2 small mets in pelvic area. He’s had a biopsy which showed Gleason 4 +5 and his PSA in hospital

EBRT - Is it the right thing and what to expect?
After DX in November 2018 with Stage IV and Gleason of 5+4 and 4+5, and 5 years of ADT of Lupron (then Orgovyx), prednisone 5mg, and Zytiga 250mg with low fat breakfast, my PSA stayed stable at 0.4 or 0.5. At end of 2013, PSA started rising to latest value of 0.84. Had PSMA PET Scan March 5, 2024

Echo appointment done just holter next Friday
words, mitral regurgitation and
coarctation
of
the
aorta
, which I had repaired at a day old so hopefully that doesn't need repairing again, obviously I'm no expert so I'm probably completely wrong about everything!

Doxazosin
I am on 4 mg Doxazosin twice a day, combined with 2.5 mg Bendromethiazide and 100 mg Losartan. The Doxazosin was increased due to an increase in BP reading, and we opted for Doxazosin as at the time I had an enlarged prostate. The prostate has now been treated with a TURP operation. I am suffering from

Help! Prostate cancer spread to bladder.
Diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2017, confined to bones and lymph nodes. After chemotherapy, have had a great run on drugs, but a bladder neck incision last June confirmed that it had spread to my bladder, about 1cm poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma on the left side. The urologist seemed

Enlarged Prostate
I have an enlarged prostate and I am trying to determine if I should be taking medicines or have a procedure such as TURP. I would like to get some experiences of people that have taken Flomax or other medicines to reduce the prostate size. I have an allergy to sulfa, what makes me a little nervous about

SMALL-CELL NEUROENDOCRINE CARCINOMA
Following prostate cancer first treated with low dose brachytherapy, then ten years later with high dose brachytherapy, from a biopsy following a Turp, I was diagnosed with SMALL-CELL NEUROENDOCRINE CARCINOMA. From a CT scan this was found in my prostate, bladder, and lower colon. I am told that it

Prostatic Artery Embolization
I’m 67 year old and have been suffering with BPH for years. Don’t want to do TURP or lasers. I’m interested in doing PAE. Has anyone had this procedure done. Does it work. I had a cystoscope and the urologist found a medial lobe at the neck of the bladder. Would PAE work if the blockage is located there

Radiation therapy or Turp first?
Guys, I posted last week on this issue but looking for additional feedback. Appears my cancer is spreading after 5 years but also experiencing urination issues at same time. I met with urologist and he suggests Turp procedure. I meet with radiation oncologist next week. My question is has anyone experienced

Enhancing my urinating experience?
Guys, Several weeks ago I started experiencing slow and weak urine stream for first time since diagnosis almost 6 years ago. This, coupled with rise in PSA, triggered my oncologist to order both MRI and PSMA scan. Would appear things are progressing and got referrals to radiation oncologist and urologist

Swollen cord-stump after castration?
I got castrated three years ago, because the boys were inflammated, hard and numb. The right one cut out inguinal, got examinamed in pathology with result: no cancer. Thereby the left one got cut out from his sac-shelf directly, so i have the cord stump still in my inguinal left. It was often swollen

Life Insurance
I had heart surgery for a
coarctation
of
the
aorta
over 20 years ago. I have hypertension now and take medication. Not many other problems now. I’ve been quoted life insurance of £52 a month for an overall life insurance payment of £250k. Does this seem reasonable or excessively over the top.

After Urolift Failure What next
I had the Urolift procedure in June 2021. No change to symptoms at all apart from near 'urgency incontinence'. A recent cystoscopy revealed that one end of one of the four implants used was in my bladder (rare occurrence) which has started to 'crust' and a stone has formed which has now been lasered

I thought I’d give you an update on my husband. You guys are very helpful in his reduction in ropinerole last year, he was taking 8 mg a day and is currently down to four but cannot get past 4 mg. Since last he’s been diagnosed with Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia lymphoma, and is currently flaring
