Laparoscopy with amenorrhea
Hello - I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure something out about my laparoscopy. I have my first surgery to diagnose endometriosis in July after being referred last year for extreme pain during bleeds. My worry is that I haven't had a period since last September. I have a history of hypothalamic

My Bladder Cancer Update.
As I stand now I have my LAST BCG treatment this Thursday, that will be followed in six to eight weeks with a flexy cystoscopy. I am at moment Low Grade - If my cystoscopy shows a tumour, then I will have to go in overnight to have it removed, That would not mean back to High Grade necessarily .

Hi all, I’m new here just wanted to come somewhere for a bit of support! I haven’t yet been formally diagnosed, my consultant ‘suspects’ Endometriosis and the next step is a Laparoscopy. Has anyone else been through the wringer trying to get seen? It’s taken me years to get this far and I’m emotionally

Ok so I am hopefully going to be starting injecting every other day soon (possibly end of this week), but can’t just yet and I don’t know how to cope. I ain’t sleeping, I am peeing loads and have terrible bladder pain. Dr Klein says this does happen to some people. But I have also started seeing things

Bowel cramps?
I had a laparoscopy about 9 weeks ago. I had endometrioma's removed from my ovaries, lots of adhesions removed from right pelvic wall and endometriosis removed from surface of the bowel. I'm presuming it was excised but I won't know for sure until I see my consultant in two weeks. My question is, is

Hi all, yesterday I stupidly trotted across a road, my leg gave way and I ended up sliding across on my face, hitting my cheek/nose on the kerb. Been to A&E, all sorted apart from sore shoulder which is a little better today. The pain feels very specific in that I feel it only in certain positions or

Coffee - links to autoimmune?
Dear PA members - there seems to be many articles about negative and positive impacts of coffee/caffeine on autoimmune diseases. Does anyone know /researched if coffee has a negative or positive impact on AG PA? Its not clear. Many thanks

Discomfort
Hi all. I'm getting discomfort in my upper abdomen. It's not pain exactly but it's uncomfortable. It's like IBS, which I suffer with, but can't take peppermint oil anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? It's not bloated like I had when I was diagnosed with cirrhosis. Apart from this

Urinary Issues
I have had urinary issues for a long time. Urgency, frequency, retention, pain. No "incontinence" if i can get to a toilet or get the dick out to pee on the ground fast enough. Every day is a different combination of the above and I have never been able to figure out what causes each symptom or how

😊 I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out because I've been navigating stress-induced IBS, and it's been quite a journey. The symptoms—pain, nausea, bloating, inflammation—have been challenging, to say the least. I have been feeling pain daily for months

A quick update for those that remember my recent posts about the Ablation complications!

Ureter Restriction from Radiation Treatments?
While I don't have any symptoms (yet), a CT scan and ultrasound tests show that the lower part of my right ureter tube is very narrow and causing the kidney to swell, apparently from restricted flow of urine through the ureter. My University of Chicago Medicine urologist suspects scarring in the ureter
