Full Pelvic Radiation
My doc stopped the orgovyx I was taking because after just 2 weeks my PSA started to rise 10 points, then the second month it had risen another 10 points.. So now I just got my first Lupron injection. I chose once a month injections to see how well it works. If it works I'll increase it to 3 month injections

Genomic testing
Who benefits from genetic testing and when? Is it mainly when someone becomes castrate resistant and or metastatic that they recommend it? Or is there value in doing it ahead of things while one is castrate sensitive? Had RP and then salvage radiation with 6 months ADT. 1st lab after.. T of 25 and undectable

looking for reassurance or advice
Hello warriors, After exactly 2 years of happily dropping PSA numbers on triplet therapy, my husbands PSA went up this month from .91. To .94 I know MO will say to wait for 3 months of rising PSA before we should panic, but that’s easy for him to say… looking for reassurance as we wait for next months

Peter Attia - Prostate Cancer and Testosterone
Interesting podcast on mens health by Dr Peter Attia and Dr Mohit Khera. Lots of area's discussed, but I have linked to the section where they discuss prostate cancer & testosterone. Also discussed BAT and a growing trend of giving testosterone after RP in an effort to reduce biochemical reoccurance

Radium-223 + Xtandi?
I’ve been on chemo (cabazitaxel + carboplatin) since Jan 2022 and also on Zometa and Lupron. PSA went from 1.3 in Jan 2023 to 11.7 this month. CT and Bone scans show bone mets somewhat stable but with activity, all bone no soft tissue. PET PSMA earlier this year did not show enough tracer activity

Clinical Trial Considerations??
I’ve been presented with a clinical trial and I’m open to feedback. Background: I’m 71 and in pretty good health. I was diagnosed with two Gleason 6 lesions in late 2021 and went on AS. At that point, PSA was in the low 4’s. Earlier this year, PSA rose to 6.7. MRI and guided biopsy uncovered one Gleason

My PSA was ND and my MRI for glioma was OK - so after another Chemo - I took the family to Italy for us to enjoy the espresso at a sidewalk cafe along with gelato. see https://1drv.ms/f/s!Aj3YK_3HR4eZgznhrPKZL62aFeCH?e=nXtJbY I hope the pictures work - I can't seem to get them in chrono order so

Sulforaphane to lower PSA?
Hi all, curious here if anyone onboard has had any positive PSA lowing results, (in the 40-60 mg doses), especially it is interesting in the Ultra-ranges, using ‘Sulforaphane’, a suppliment that uses the certain positive extracts of raw broccoli, there apparently are some good indicators of it being

Unexpected Dive in PSA
Was diagnosed with Gleason 7 (4+3) in June. PSA was initially 19.76 in April, went up to 21.78 in May to confirm first high PSA, retested again in August at 19.39. Started taking Orgovyx on 9/11 and began IMRT (37 fractions, 70-78gy to prostate, SIB boost to 85-90gy) on 9/28. Had my PSA checked again

Never get tired of annoucing I am STILL undetectable
108 bottles of Zytiga on the shelf. Got my latest PSA and blood test results. Once again, officially 8 years 9 months since November 2014 results, PSA still undetectable at <.008. Another Zero candy bar for me. (I bought a few, and been handing them out like cigars after a new birth.) I have had somewhat
