rash for 5 months now
hi I’ve had an all over body rash the past 5 months and dermatologist is convinced is because of a virus. No signs of it improving. I’m so worn out with it now. Antihistamines are doing nothing and neither is the steroid cream. Please give some advice what else this could be. They are flat pink spots

Does anyone have any insight on how or if V +O treatment affects insulin sensitivity?
We attributed this to the
steroids
given during O infusions, but those are now in the past, and he is not able to reduce his A1C and insulin requirements. Does anyone have any data regarding the effects of this treatment on Type 2 Diabetes? Thanks so much!!!

Anyone had hand therapy for Chronic repetitive strain injury of the wrists?
My question is has anyone ever had hand therapy for chronic tendonitis or like a chronic repetitive strain injury in your wrist? And if so did it help with the pain? This is the only thing that I've not tried besides obviously I've not tried surgery and I asked my orthopedic hand dr about it and he doesn't

Prescribed Naproxine 250 twice a day for hip bursitis is that dangerous with Pred
I was prescribed Naproxine 250 twice a day yesterday for bursitis ? on right hip. Pain is so bad dr. gave a steroid injection. Suggested I take up to 4g of Paracetamol if necessary. Just read of NHS site that Naproxine and Pred are not compatible. Is this true for short time use? If so what

medication, not working
I had an infection a month ago and rheumatologist put me on
steroids
for four days as soon as I stop taking them. I’m sick again I’m really hoping that I do not go back on them. They keep me up at night.

GCA and respiratory issues?
Initially I will not increase
steroids
, and I am slowly reducing to 5mg. I am continuing on Actemra. Hopefully the antibiotic will work, if/when need. If not, we're back to the possibility of it being inflammation caused by GCA. We'll see where it leads moving forward.

Leflunomide
He mentioned Leflunomide, if I continued to have problems with cutting down the
steroids
. By 22/02/2023 I was back up to 15mg, and the question of Leflunomide cropped up again.

GCA after biopsy
I always thought
steroids
are supposed to make you feel hungry. I take Omoprazole am and evening which I had to have for years due to ulcer. Funny I got the all clear and healed from endoscopy week before Xmas. Is it these
steroids
? I am fine at the moment with pain.

Low dose steroids for miscarriages…?
But they have said they could put me on low-dose
steroids
as a safety net - it’s up to me. From what I’ve read, the
steroids
seem to be for implantation issues/chemical pregnancies, rather than later miscarriages…?!

Upping my steroid dose? Can I do more harm than good?
Am I going to do any harm to myself if I up the
steroids
for 5 days? (This would certainly go against the advice of the Rheumatology dept.) I know yo-yoing
steroids
is not good but I just want to feel better and get back to a level playing field.

Diagnosis of Sigmoid volvulus 3 weeks ago and an emergency operation via colon righted it temporarily.
So the operation is needed as soon as possible but I need to reduce my
steroids
as soon as possible, without causing a flare up, so the operation will then have a better prognosis.
