Need advice please. Struggling with T3 raising blood pressure
I have been on 5mcg of T3 for 5 weeks now. My blood pressure seems to spike around 5pm, 7:30pm, and on up to bedtime. It is usually (120/80) to (130/40's) throughout the day but at bedtime it's usually high 151/110 with heart palps, butterfly feeling, and breathlessness. It hasn't started spiking really

Doctors order a new blood test.
Hi all does any one have any I’d. The doctor order a full blood work up. Due to a lot of problems. They cut my medication in January from 175 to 150 and now down to 125 at the end of March. There trying to raise my T3 from 0.1 last blood test was in March before cut down to 125. Was T3 still at 0.1 but

Difficulty Swallowing and Frothy Spit After Eating
I am an 19 year old male. In the past year I have been having problems with my swallowing. After eating or mid way through a meal, my throat feels full and I have constant frothy, bubbly saliva that I keep having to spit out. I went to the GI twice. The first one was in September of 2018. He did an upper

Opinion from anyone about aPendix stuck to Half My Colon ?
Just looking for anyone no matter how many for an opinion on how long would you think it would take your appendix to get oversized and not only stuck to half my COLON but plastered to it ? The reason I'm asking this question is I had a barium enema done with x-rays after 12 years of going through

Dietary analysis app you might like....and how much methionine is too much?
I've turned into a bit of a food geek and I've just discovered an app which analyses my food diary and shows, amongst many other things, methionine, calcium and sodium intake. If anyone is interested, it's called Cronometer. I'm trying (like many of us) to reduce my methionine by reducing my animal protein

Never ending insomnia please help!
I have been struggling with falling asleep, staying asleep, and overall quality of sleep for years. I can’t seem to find a medication or supplement that works well for me. I have tried melatonin (nightmares), valerian root (too many giant bad smelling capsules to take in order for it to work), magnesium

Energenesis
Here is a new supplement which has most of everything that isn’t a vitamin or mineral in it. Expensive but maybe convenient if you want to try all these things at once? https://www.theenergyblueprint.com/energenesis “Energenesis is like a 5-star MEAL for your Mitochondria (LOADED with rare nutrients

Has anyone had an iron infusion/injection and did you feel the benefits from this straight away
Well after seeing the Nephrologist yesterday they have said that I am anaemic and have to have iron infusion/injection not sure which now. I asked if it was related to my sore tongue (diagnosed as Geographic Tongue 6 months ago) and she said it was. Hopefully this will go away when I have had the iron

Ativan taper advice
A few people have asked for advice, so here are some key things to keep in mind.. 1. Do it with the help of a professional!! Ideally a psychiatrist, they’re more knowledgeable than you’re regular doctor. There are also addiction specialists and counselors if you feel addicted. 2. Only cut a dose a small

Co2 levels
Nephrologist visit this week and CO2 low. He added sodium bicarbonate. Can anyone explain more about this? Can it be diet related and how do I help it with what I eat?

I felt fine today. I felt fine yesterday and the day before that. And I'm expecting to feel fine tomorrow.
I can't remember when I last had a bad day. There was one morning last week when I woke up feeling low. But I did have some tough stuff to sort out, but by late morning I was feeling fine. I reckon I feel normal at least 95% of the time. My anxiety and depression are genetic so it's never going to

Liquid diet due to swallowing issues, any tips??
I posted on here before about some swallowing issues, unfortunately they have gone from bad to worse. I started having issues at the end of January which we at first thought may have been caused by my anemia, but it was not. Beginning of February/end of January doctor sent requests for more tests and

RLS and epilepsy
I posted recently about the surprise results from an EEG indicating that at 53 i have temporal lobe epilepsy. Learned that mom had seizures in the 1970s and has severe RLS. Son is 21 who also just came back with a positive EEG for epilepsy and is already showing signs of RLS. My armchair research has

Jaydess coil
Update on a post I made about 7 months ago. I tried out a Jaydess coil, which has been interesting. Background - I'm 29, never had kids. Suspected endo due to bad period pains and severe pain on pooing during my period. No laparoscopy. The reason I chose the Jaydess over the Mirena was its smaller size

Ascites or belly fat?
Is there a way to tell a difference in the two besides weighing yourself? My fiancé looks like he has put a bit of weight on in his belly and his face. His face was looking gaunt so I’m thankful for the weight but I’m worried it’s ascites coming back as he has stopped his diuretics a couple of weeks
