Is what I'm experiencing Pelvic Pain? Plus Spritz for Bits?
I'm 77 years old and have been diagnosed with rectocele and cystocele by my GP and also a private consultant, who told me he could do nothing until I had done 16 weeks of pelvic floor exercises. I found a women's health physio who tells me my pelvic floor measures 5/5 on the modified Oxford scale so

You can recover from PCS. My recovery journey may inspire you; it is now listed on a science search engine Google Scholar.
Sorry if it seems like I am blowing my own trumpet but recovering from PCS/mTBI is possible. I have been in this online community for 6 years and the stories of people joining with PCS are the same story over and over and over. You get injured, go to A&E and get a CT scan which shows nothing. You may

Update PMR 2 months since diagnosis
Hi everyone, this forum has been a lifeline for me - thank you. It's given me the knowledge to ask the right questions and feel confident in questioning and working out a plan tailored for me. This is quite a long read, but thought it might be of interest to people at the same stage as me. The main

Managed to do W4 R2 this morning
I’m away at the weekend and knew today was my last chance for a little run. So off I went — a lovely morning cold but dry. 🤔🤔🤔🤭🤭🤭 I managed to complete W4R2 without too much pain in my ankle/heel. But It has been tender all day so I’ll be resting it for a couple of days and then doing some walking

Brain alterations with Chronic Fatigue
Hi all, I'm part of a chronic illness support group and they did a Zoom session on how to use telehealth visits for physical therapy . The physical therapist referenced an article about scientists recently finding what may be the physiological root of chronic fatigue and ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis

I had a medical crisis, I didn't die, I wonder why
Last summer I had a medical emergency. The odds were it would kill me but I survived with few life threatening consequences. The problems I had are commonly fatal for 80 year old men. There is a message in my experience which I hope to share with you in this article. It is a bit longer than most

So happy
Brilliant day. Had him standing up and down a few times, before hoisting him into chair. Actually dressed in own clothes. Ventilator on zero and they're going to try him overnight as well. If that's okay, they'll keep it at zero. Sent sputum off to see how long he'll need antibiotics. Physio said he's
