ADT or not for favourable intermediate risk with SBRT
Currently on AS, have repeat tp biopsy in October, this is routine for AS.Treatment advice, if I choose is SBRT but no ADT due to CVD risk as I have chads score 2, had 1 previous stroke in Feb 18 with full recovery, diagnosed May 2020 with paroxysmal AF, had 1 episode since so low burden, bisoprolol

A little humor?
Everyone might have heard this before but I hadn't. Before ADT I had a six pack, now I have a keg.

Distortion of Hba1c test with levo
Hi Someone asked me to give further info about my claim that HbA1c tests cannot be relied upon if you are being treated with levothyroxine. I can't find that request now so I'm starting a new thread. The clearest statement is on the American Thyroid Association website.
WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS

ADT before Surgery?
I have a prostatectomy which is probably 6-8 weeks in my future. My outlook is that metastasis in imminent. (T3bM0n0 and no evidence of cancer outside the gland as of May 25 PSMA PET scan, but I am told I am intermediate/unfavorable and my PSA went from 10 to 12 in only a month.) Today is August 18.

Confused - who can give me ADT injections?
Need some help with this. I traveled out of town to a Proton treatment Center of Excellence, and it was determined that I would start ADT upon returning home. So I got back home, contacted the RO who had originally seen me and suggested the Proton treatment, then set up an appointment to go into the

Second Opinion
Guys, I live in the Greater Cincinnati area and am seeking a second opinion regarding my treatment plan for my Advanced Prostate Cancer. I have been on ADT for 18 months. I started Eligard injections and Xtandi. However, I had a number of cardiac events including a mild heart attack and went off

PSA drop after ADT
My PSA went from 14.9 ug/l in May to 5.9 ug/l in June to 0.24 ug/l when tested 2 days ago after Lupron injection 3 months ago. Naturally I'm very relieved over the drop.My oncologist has pretty much left the decision to me on the ADT duration. I had earlier voiced my reservation about ADT on account

ADT and Headaches
To all, I may have mentioned it before, but I've had low-level but disruptive headaches since I started ADT along with low RBC/Hemoglobin/Hematocrit. Also as a diabetic, I've been on metformin for many years, thus depleting my B12 levels. I've talked to my doctors about this, and the only solution

Barcelona PC Docs
I am looking for a recommendation of a good prostate cancer doctor and facility in Barcelona. I am finishing up two years or ADT (Lupron and Xtandi) after RALP and radiation and want to spend some time there. Monitoring and maintenance mode. Any thoughts?

Lu177 Long Term Survival
Does anyone have long term survival figures for Lu177 treatment? Is is a one time thing or can it be repeated? Is it easier on the body than ADT? Thanks everyone.

ED no more
My case is unusual in as much as I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer four years ago. A bone scan identified many areas where I had bone mets, even one between my shoulder blades on my spine that looked like structural surgery was inevitable. My PSA topped 1000 and I had zero treatments of any

TURP and Prostatectomy
I am looking at a prostatectomy, but I had a TURP 8 yrs ago. How does this change the risk factors and my potential quality of life for a prostatectomy? If I did radiation therapy, they would like me to have another TURP to remove some of the prostate that is growing into the bladder before starting

NDT in Greece ?
I am going to work in Greece and again asking if anyone has purchased
NDT
or Armour specifically there ? I am worried I might run out of Armour- if so would I then have to go back onto Levo plus t3 - I presume this would play havoc. I have only been on armour 7 weeks.
