IPP Inflatable Penile Implant after PCa Treatment; When to Move on Implant Surgery
Well, as with all things in life, hindsight is 20-20. So it is with my experience with my IPP (inflatable penile prosthesis) after 2 1/2 years of PCa treatment. I was operated on in June, 2020, had IMRT RT Radiation treatment ending May, 2021 and finished a total of 21 months on ADT this past December

Slow rising PSA. Wait and watch?
Hello everyone My father has been on ADT since two years (Zytiga and Lupron). His PSA fell from 500 at diagnosis to 0.41 last September. Since then it has slowly been creeping up. In 5 months it has risen to 0.74. I have got his PSA tested every month so this is not a random jump but a slow increase

T2 supplementation
Hi all, I've seen T2 supplementation is now a thing and some thyroid patients in America have 3 hormone treatment T4, T3 and T2. Does anyone have any information on T2 and if it is necessary if you've had a thyroidectomy? Many thanks

Tomotherapy side effects?
Hello, we saw a RO today and based on the 2nd opinion here in AZ, and his interpretation of his PSMA scan; my husband decided to start Radiation via TomoTherapy. Have any of you experienced this; IMRT (targeted ) using CT and targeted to just tumors! Our understanding is that he would have better outcome

PSA going down?
I've been on a ADT vacation for a little over two years - and my PSA is rising and i was expecting to go back on ADT this month - but my results came back and showed a dramatic drop. My recent history is: June&July 2022 - 0.2 Sept 2022 - 0.4 Nov 2022 - 0.6 Dec 2022 - 1.1 Jan 2023 - 1.5 Feb 2023

evolutionary theory for Pca resistance
thought there was some discussion of adapting evolutionary theory to help postpone resistance to ADT; perhaps some using some form of it anyone know about this or who has had experience with it? https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-017-01968-5

Decision time – looking for opinions/advice please
My Bio gives full details, but in a nutshell, I was diagnosed with APCa with extensive bone mets last year, have been on ADT for 7 months and Xtandi for 4 months. I had a CT scan in December which showed little change from the previous one in August except for some progression in a pelvic lymph node

To teva or not to teva? that is the question
My gp has agreed to give me some levo so that I can experiment with combining t4 and
ndt
. It’s arrived today and the brand is teva -its 25mcg. I’ve read many posts on here from people that don’t do well on teva, so I’m wondering do I need to try and get a different brand for my experiments?

Is Radium223 treatment suitable option for me now
DX in 2020 with Stage 4 PCa and have done full course of Chemo treatment. Have been on Abiraterone for over 18 month but now it seems to be failing as PSA is continually rising; now 18 (was 2.39 back in April 2022) . I'm now mCRPC and still taking Abiraterone, ADT and Zometa. Signed up for new trial

Blood tests to monitor while on ADT..etc
Hi, Currently, on ADT, I'm about four months in on Lupron of an 18-month prescription. Trying to do all the right things (diet/exercise.e.tc). I'm meeting with my RO in March, for the 3-month reivew, so I will test PSA and testosterone, but I also wonder if there are any other tests I should consider

Salvage Radiotherapy Info in UK
My PSA seems to be definitely on the move, latest is 0.11 up from 0.085 taken 3 months ago, full history is in my profile. I am sure SRT is now on the cards. There seems to be much to consider about dose (64-70Gy), target area (prostate bed with or without lymph nodes) and short term ADT, which is summarised

Collagen Peptide supplements and bone quality
Y'all are familiar by now that ADT leads to accelerated BMD (bone mineral density) loss. There are a series of things that can be done -- 1, Get a DEX scan now 2, Supplement with Calcium, K2, D3 and magnesium 3, Have your MO or whoever put you on BMD medication (eg denosumab, et al) Now comes

Pregnant on NDT, not feeling great.
Hi Everyone, I’m currently 32.6 weeks pregnant and on 240mg of Thyroid S. I was taking the full dose in the morning but was suffering from hyper symptoms- shaky, clammy, hot, anxious, etc. Was advised to reduce by 30mg by one endo and was further advised by another to split the dose over the course

ADT and ED Meds?
I am just starting Orgovyx and it's working well.... too well as far as ED is concerned. I had no significant issues prior to ADT with achieving an erection and orgasm. So at a minimum I'm pretty motivated to try and get it back in some form or fashion or at least do whatever I can prophylactically

question about hypothermia?
a couple weeks back, I visited my Kaiser infusion lab …. Lupron implant and Zometa pain train infusion. While there the intake nurse was alarmed with my 95.2 body temp. It’s been running between 95.2 and 95.7 lately. She told me to go to the E.R. , immediately, if it dropped to 95 or less. They were

ADT Emotional Lability Do Antidepressants Help?
Dear All, I’m dealing with the emotional lability of ADT and was wondering if Antidepressants helped? Just curious about others experiences. I have tried escitalopram but was deathly nauseous 3 days in and stopped taking it and haven’t tried anything else. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
