Chinese physical therapy
He did lots of pulling and tugging and he did acupuncture,
massage
, tens machine, magnetic treatment, cupping. He is so good and the price is great it is Β£40 a session no matter how long the session lasts. My first 2 visits were over 2 hours and my session yesterday was an hour and a half.

Help please
I am wondering if anyone knows what alternative therapies are available on the NHS in Scotland such as swimming in a hydrotherapy pool or
massage
, as I feel I could rattle due to the amount of tablets I am on plus more they want me to take.

Shock wave therapy
Makes a lot of sense, like a deep-tissue
massage
. There is something in this. Have a read, acoustic waves ease spasticity/pain. I'll hunt around and find more. These machines retail at $1000~ish. I'll check if my hospital offers it, but I doubt it.

What helps reduce Dyskinesia .
Right now trying to get her back up with PT and
massage
etc .. still no energy to get on the theracycle .. in fact she has the symptoms of sleepiness , where she can barely keep her eyes open. Does anyone know why ? Is it too less levodopa or a side effect of sinemet ? What should we do ?

Calf & knee pain - sound familar to anyone?
Every month I see a
massage
therapist for 60 mins which I find helps general pain management. I mentioned this to the physio and she advised me to ask the
massage
therapist to work on my left side to "release" something there (can't remember what she said was being released).

Slow and Steady means I can still run π
Back to snail pace and I stopped at 13 minutes to stretch and
massage
my legs a little then went in to run for a total of 35 minutes! I am now going to track just running distance which today was 3.67km so still a long way from 5k but I can live with that.

Relaxation techniques
My legs aren't "cured" but the intensity is less and now manageable with a small dose of valium ,
massage
and stretching - maybe the diet I am on also helps, but I am unsure.

Pain relief: please give this a go, you have nothing to lose and hopefully it will help some people with their pain manageability. π
I see how using
massage
, aromatherapy, hot stone
massage
or reflexology helps clients with their pain, helping them get some relief from their pain and more importantly relaxation not only for them but myself. π I encourage my clients to help themselves by using a golf ball, as funny as this sounds

Achy Legs = Anxious Me
Not deep pain, just like I want to rub them and
massage
them achy. I'm making myself anxious that there's something wrong, but my husband says it's because I was on them all last week. I'm really starting to get distracted by it, and my anxiety is flaring up, which I'm sure doesn't help.

From 2000 people with Hashimoto's- the nine most helpful strategies.
For example, some gyms may have saunas in them that you may be able to use with a membership or a daily pass, and
massage
companies often have discounts on their websites. My husband and I once found a local
massage
school that offered deeply discounted massages.

Irritating Pain / Over-Sensitivity
- Tightness around the opening of rectum, painful when I
massage
it. - Plantar fasciitis on left foot, not sure if that's related. Diagnoses I went to my urologist who thought I could have injured a vein on my penis and caused a blood clot.

Explaining Pain & Fatigue to others
My need for therapy - If I get a
massage
every week, don't envy me. My
massage
is not your
massage
. Consider how a
massage
would feel if that charley horse you had in your leg last week was all over your body. Massaging it out was very painful, but it had to be done. My body is knot-filled.
