My experiment with 2 recommended devices resulted in no more blood pressure pills and no more PD-related fainting spells
Both Parkinson's itself and the
levodopa
pills contribute to the problem.

A possible cure for Fibroymalgia, please read this.
I have heard a lot of different opinions on what Fibromyalgia is and on possible treatments for it. But I recently found a book that is incredibly useful. It's called " The Fibromyalgia cure" it's by DR David Dryland. It basically says that fibromyalgia is caused by your body being in a constant

BocowoA trial update - A Lull before a Storm
Having enjoyed the first few hours in feeling totally free of all Parkinson’s Disease symptoms (while being completely free of
Levodopa
medication for over 15 days) the recent heat wave brought with it an unaccounted for twist; and coinciding with a shortfall in the main ingredient of BocowoA, I decided

Head movement associated with Levodopa
My husband has been using Ropinirole for 5 years now but the doctor has reduced this and added
Levodopa
. I have noticed a big change in his physical movements. His head is moving side to side and he has a tendency of walking with his head cocked to one side.

Published this year in Behavioral Neuroscience, Inzelberg's review identifies two underlying factors —
levodopa

How does thyroid hormone find its way into the brain?
We see lots and lots of thyroid hormone blood test results here. And understandably. The brain is separated from our blood supply by the blood-brain barrier (BBB). This paper talks about an active process of transporters "pumping" thyroid hormones across the BBB - and what fails to work if that process

GABAPENTIN for nerve pain?
My PD meds are carbidopa/
levodopa
, comtan and mirapex. (Mirapex was the possible interaction). Within two hours of taking the one AND ONLY capsule I will ever take, I had double vision, a migraine complete with nausea, diarhea (sp?), and felt like a walking zombie.

Why do very few doctors prescribe a monotherapy of an MAO-b inhibitor, instead of immediately prescribing levodopa medication?
MAO-b inhibitors are capable of slowing down the progression of Pd. No other type of medication can, to the best of my knowledge, achieve this. As a non-medical person with Pd, I would like to know why this is not the best way to deal with Pd?

Coconut oil has improved my life
The addition of Carbidopa/
Levodopa
(25/100, 3 per day) eased the joint pain and the freezing episodes and restored some of the lost balance, but I still had annoying unsteadiness, slow movement, and could not rise from a low chair unassisted. I still dragged my left leg.
