Update 7.9 = Good News
I just saw both the Neurologist/Neurofibromatosis specialist and MPN specialist yesterday. The news was good on both fronts. Neurology Update. At 4.5 years out from surgery, there is no sign of recurrence of the brain tumor. The data on this type of glioma (Pilocytic Astrocytoma) indicates that

Well after trying hard to ignore heel and hip pain since Christmas I decided to make an appointment with the physio. Went yesterday and after a very thorough examination he decided I had Achilles tendinitis and my OA of hip wasn’t helping it he also felt my age old back surgery was affecting both.

Shock diagnosis and 4 week wait for follow up at rapid-access Heart Failure clinic. Is my anxiety justified?
Two weeks ago I went for a stress echo test. It was a real shock that after a preliminary echo the test was abandoned. Serious faces and mutterings all round ensued, and a cardiologist came in, studied the screen and told me I had heart failure! She advised me not to go on my planned holiday till

Multiple arrhythmias
I have now been told by EP that I have a number of different arrhythmias which probably explains why various rhythm control meds have caused other arrhythmias and not been effective . The ablation I had earlier this year helped and i am mostly in sinus rhythm. Only taking blood thinner and sotolol PIP

Update on Earlier Posts about my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Also an ongoing comprehensive two way conversation regarding my history, pain, problems etc. At the end he said, I think doing any further tests or conduction tests would be

Hi guys, I posted a few months ago about my laparoscopic diagnostic surgery. They didn’t find endo however I was convinced that I had it regardless. I took all of your advice on getting an opinion, and I am now seeing an endo specialist instead of a general gynaecologist and wow you can tell the difference

SAR Form
Does anyone know about this Subject Access Request form or SAR? I have had some blood tests done, and the surgery now says I need to fill in the above form. In the past, I have always gained access to my data when I call into the surgery and ask for a print-off. Not sure why they're asking me to fill

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those inhalers containing Salbutamol sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin. Some
