New test results! And the GP said that is nothing to worry about...
And she wrote a letter to the haematologist with copies of my results saying: " parietal cell antibodies positive, intrinsic factor negative, B12 levels are normal" She did not care about my folate being very low and even b12 is normal range she said the haematologist and the

Do they always check for celiac when doing a gastroscopy?
I had a
gastroscopy
done a year ago to test for H. Pylori. There was no H. Pylori, but lately I'm starting to think it could be celiac. They didn't mention it though, so does this mean I'm don't have Celiac disease or can it also mean they just didn't test it?

Liver M.R.I with contrast
I saw a consultant and she said I had grade 'A' cirrhosis and I needed bloods , ultrasound and
gastroscopy
. Following my ultrasound last Tuesday, I arrived home to find an appointment letter for liver MRI with contrast. Does this seem ominous? Did she see something worrying on the ultrasound?

I’m new to this, can anyone help?
Had
gastroscopy
last week and he said he saw signs of flattened villi and I must stop my diet before my tests next week. I tried to stop my diet but oh my goodness my symptoms came back with a vengeance!

Overdue update
His radiotherapy has been delayed and his
gastroscopy
. It's been a tough time for both of us.

Side Effect of Prednisolone - Dementia?
We also went to see a gastroenterologist because my dad needed to do
gastroscopy
as he did have history of gastric problems and thank god that his
gastroscopy
result turned good.

Help with Gastroscopy
I recently had a
Gastroscopy
whilst on a fast track Cancer pathway to look into the possibility that I may have upper GI Cancer. Cutting a long story short, thankfully I have not got Cancer, so that’s a big relief. I did not know what a
Gastroscopy
involved so I checked it out on Google.

Inguinal Hernia.
I find the specialist nurse a real help and she arranged for me to have a
gastroscopy
and CT scan as my weight had dropped to 10.4. I was 13.5 before operation. Fortunately both came up clear and I was given advice about diet.

Pancreatic cancer?
I have had numerous tests - colonoscopy,
gastroscopy
, 2 ultrasounds, ct scan with contrast and then an MRI that showed a 4mm side branch duct cyst on tail of pancreas. Numerous visits to A&E, bloods normal. Finally had an EUS that confirmed cyst looked benign.

Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy today
The
Gastroscopy
was fine but I found the Colonoscopy quite painful despite the sedation and pain relief. Apparently it was down to my curvy anatomy. I've now got to wait on biopsy results and seeing the consultant for a follow up.

Posting on behalf on Juliet55
Hi all, this is Steph, Juliets daughter here. She has asked me to post on her behalf. My Mam was given news this week that it is a matter of weeks now, possibly months. She has been in hospital since December 7th and any intervention is too risky. She was going to be treated with a venting gastrostomy

I’m due to have both a
gastroscopy
& colonoscopy on Wednesday as doc thinks I may have diverticulitis or the beginnings of. I’m also menopausal & have read that your bowel habits can change dramatically due to lack of hormones. Or it could be the lupus causing inflammation in my gut/intestines.
