Creatine, StemEnhance, B1 Thiamine & Amantadine
I received a bonus container of “Pure Creatine” with a mail order, a couple months ago. I decided to go to the internet to see what it was used for and was surprised to see claims that some people feel it has been helpful for PwP. I use an electrolyte drink mix recommended by my primary care doctor.

How is PD connected to Restless Leg Syndrome?
Or is it? I had a mild degree of RLS for several years. It wasn't enough of a problem to warrant medical help. Over the past few months the restless leg has gotten worse. Coincidentally two years I was diagnosed with PD. I was on Sinemet for over a year. Stopped it and switched to amantadine

Finding the balance between Dyskinesia and off time
While i know that there is no magic pill here , i am at my wits end on trying to find that balance . I also wanted to go natural , so it was suggested that a combo of mucana and sinemet (she can only take 1/4 of 25/100 sinemet) might alleviate it . Sometimes it seems ok, sometimes it makes her more dyskinesic

What is your experience with Rytary, and is it possible to mitigate dyskinesia?
In the past 3 or 4 months I started experiencing an intense
dyskinesia
in my legs and feet. It's just exhausting. It has become agonizing to stand, walk -- last night it kept on after I was lying in bed. I moved to Rytary, and now I take 2 23.75-95 mg. capsules, 4 times a day.

My personal withdrawal from the inhibitor EGCG To add the inhibitor quercetin
I have four years used a GCG to complement my intake of natural sourced levodopa. I finally got tired of the slight nausea that occurs and decided to try a different type of inhibitor, quercetin. I have found a change beneficial. It is going very smoothly and I am sleeping better surprisingly I can sleep

Promising drug could treat debilitating movement problems in people with Parkinson's
NLX-112 works by targeting serotonin cells inside the brain which are believed to contribute to the development of
dyskinesia
, by releasing dopamine in an erratic manner. It aims to reduce
dyskinesia
by decreasing the amount of dopamine the cells release.

My experience with DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) Surgery
My gait is much smoother, my
dyskinesia
is gone! My voice is still a little weak and my balance seems to be the same. I am no longer exhausted ant the end of the day. Once my scars heal up, I doubt anyone would even notice that I have PD!

Reality check ... Kim, and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day ;-)
First, here's to you! Morning Mimosa ... this was a pic from yesterday morning before we left our lake house, and returned home -- we were celebrating Day 22 of self quarantine. Secondly, a good night sleep is something to be thankful for. My friend pictured (right), her name is Linda -- she stayed

Medicine/Supplement Regime (Mucuna etc)
Also, be patient in introducing new supplements and in seeing results) CBD - half life is 1-2 days - acts like grapefruit juice: inhibits CYP3A4 that breaks levodopa down in the body, so less
dyskinesia
, but also, more levodopa gets to the brain - PD Therapeutic Dose: 75-300mg/day https://www.medicalnewstoday.com

Difficult to don a face mask
CL meds do nothing to help the symptoms, If anything it makes the tremor worse and gives me
dyskinesia
. I take Amantadine for the tremor, but that doesn’t seem to be that effective. I have taken Mannitol for five years, HDT 500 mg for three years and BioCult probiotic for three months.

Acupuncture for appetite stimulation?
Has anyone tried acupuncture to stimulate appetite in a CBD?PSP/MSA patient who just isn't hungry anymore? My husband continues to lose weight and has no hunger; it's as though the brain cells that signal hunger have stopped working. Recently talked with someone who had been a caregiver to a man with

Frequency difference between tremors and dyskinesia
I don't have direct experience with
dyskinesia
, but its periodic motion appears to have a longer period (slower frequency). It isn't easy to find videos that actually show
dyskinesia
, but Michael J. Fox's
dyskinesia
is about 1 Hz and isn't always periodic.
