Sinemet? Too much or not enough?
They calm down after a bit and because I know that too much levadopa can trigger the
dyskinesia
I experimented with it taking only 1/2 a pill so see if that helped but it was the same as when I took a whole pill.

CDP choline and dyskinesia
But I have not read that
dyskinesia
will improve until Levodopa is reduced. My
dyskinesia
is associated with peak dose. Has this been the experience of any others taking cdp choline? I'm of course pleasantly surprised.

Is it tremor or dyskinesia?
Is it tremor or
dyskinesia
? Healthline says: “The main difference is that tremor is rhythmic in its movement, particularly around one joint.
Dyskinesia
is not only involuntary, but it's also
usually
disordered.

Focused Ultrasound for Freezing of Gait
I read somewhere recently that treatment of
dyskinesia
using focused ultrasound has been approved by the FDA. Does this mean that Focused Ultrasound can be used to eliminate gait freezing? Thanks To All. Who Reply,, Tom

NeuroDerm shares positive phase 3 results for investigational Parkinson’s disease therapy
Results from the BouNDless trial demonstrated that ND0612 met its primary endpoint and the first four secondary endpoints, which showed that it was superior to oral immediate-release LD/CD at increasing ‘on’ time in patients without causing
dyskinesia
and reducing ‘off’ time, after 12 weeks.

Started my grandmother on TTFD
In the last year her on-state
dyskinesia
became cognitively disabling. The severity seems to vary with the air pressure, on rare occasions when a thunderstorm comes and the air pressure is 1015mb she can feed herself without assistance in her on-state. I started her on 200mg/day TTFD on July 6th.

Piperine and L-dopa producing probiotic
I recently ran across a couple of things about gut bacteria that I thought were interesting. The first involves the use of piperine (an extract of black pepper) to keep l-dopa from being converted to dopamine by bacteria in the small intestine, leaving more to travel to the brain; https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com

Has anyone tried Camicinal as a co-therapy with levodopa
A trial was run for the administration of Camicinal as an adjunct therapy with L-dopa and following was the outcome: In total 19 patients received the inactive placebo and 37 received 50mg of the study medicine GSK 962040, also called Camicinal. Those patients who took Camicinal showed an improvement

Levodopa only?
I was wondering if there are members of this forum who have been on large doses Levodopa - Madopar or Sinemet only - up to 1100 mg per 24h, for 5+ years.I would be grateful if you could comment on your present quality of life, and do you think that things could improve if other medications are added
